Principal's Message 2019-2020
Welcome to Rupert Elementary School where character counts and hard work is rewarded. I am excited to start the new year at the New Rupert Elementary School located behind WGMS. Everything is coming together for a wonderful year.

Our theme this year is Dream BIG! We will be working together to make each day count. I encourage you to read with your students each night at least 20 minutes. I welcome families to participate in your child’s learning. We are a learning community that need teachers, custodians, aides, cooks, secretaries, bus drivers, parents and community members and all involved in the child’s life to participate in our goal and that is all students can succeed. Our positive behavior support program is T.I.D.E. which is Talented Individuals Demonstrating Excellence. We have expectations posted throughout the school and in the classrooms. We will continue with our P.B.I.S which is positive behavior interventions and supports. This means we support learners and strive to support students with positive interventions in order to change behavior.

This year there will be big changes in the way families drop off students in the morning and pick up students in the afternoon. Moring drop offs will be any time after 7:30am in order to keep students safe. Afternoon pickups will be about 3:20ish after we load the first buses. If you are picking students up in the afternoon you will have to wait at the end of the circle in order to not block the buses coming in to pick up students. Thank you for your understanding in the process of learning for all of us at the new school.

I look forward to working with you during this year. If you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at 304-392-5235.
